The Social Workers’ Educational Trust was established in 1972 by the British Association of Social Workers.

The Trust aims: to assist qualified social workers to develop their knowledge and skills encourage research into social work practice and education educate the public in the nature of social work.

Who can apply: Qualified social workers who have completed at least two years post-qualifying practice, and who work, or are looking for work, within the UK, can apply for grants from the Trust.

The Trust provides small grants to individuals (usually in the range of £100 - £300) who undertake post-qualifying training to improve their knowledge and skills for social work practice.
