BTEC Advanced Award in Neighbourhood Nuisance and Anti-Social Behaviour Case working - BTEC Level 3 Practitioner Course
Introducing a BTEC Advanced Award qualification for front-line practitioners, delivered by some of the UK’s leading experts in tackling crime and anti-social behaviour.
This course is designed to ensure that those who work with communities to tackle anti social and nuisance behaviour undergo a familiarisation process to gain the required knowledge base to effectively use the techniques, skills and knowledge required.
A course for frontline practitioners that covers information sharing, the use of tools and powers, case management techniques, giving evidence in court and how to instruct legal teams. The course consists of 50 hours of learning, made up as follows:
- Pre-course reading - 8 hours
- 4 tutorial training days - 28 hours
- Post-course work place assignment - 14 hours
BTEC Advanced Award in the Operational use of Powers Contained in RIPA - BTEC Level 3 practitioners course
Advanced Award qualification for operational practitioners and senior staff, delivered by some of the UK’s leading experts in crime and surveillance.
This course is designed to ensure that frontline practitioners or senior case workers are effectively qualified to use the operational powers contained in the Regulation Investigatory Powers Act 2000. (RIPA)
The course covers current legislation and policy in the use and understanding of:
- Covert Human Intelligence Source
- Directed surveillance activity
The course consists of 40 hours of learning, made up as follows:
- Pre-course assignment - 8 hours
- 2 tutorial training days - 16 hours
- Post-course work place assignment - 16 hours
